It wouldn't be New York if someone wasn't complaining. And so it goes... We've been reading around the inter-webs (specifically some other message boards) and have seen some posts from people complaining that Made Event is ripping people off and that the ticket prices for Electric Zoo are too high. Now last year (the inaugural year), an advance ticket with a promo cost $45. This year, it is $70. Another fact to bring up is this year there were no advanced single day tickets, only 2-day...

If you were a DJ in the 80's, you know the holy grail of mixers was the Bozak CMA 10-2DLC. And while some people still hold it in the highest regards, there are others who say the newer mixers with the fancy effects and looping have taken over and the UREI (and most rotary mixers) are a thing of the past. Few (especially sound guys) will deny that the Bozak's and UREI's of yester-year are the best sounding mixers for a club, but it's hard to sell most DJ's these days to want to play on one.
