| Crobar To Open New Club in Atlantic City Crobar To Open New Club in Atlantic CityAfter taking a trip over to Crobar's website, we noticed that they now have a link for a club in Atlantic City. Crobar, which had a half decent run with their now closed club on 27th street, had many run ins with the law (and from some reports, mafia run ins as well). There is no information yet as to the location of the club in Atlantic City, but it's a sign that Atlantic City is continuing to grow despite a weak economy. In the last year or so, we have seen the emergence of a number of new hotels, as well as Harrah's Hotel pool parties being a big success. I won't like, I don't gamble so the chances of me going to A.C. for a weekend of partying are pretty slim (there isn't much else to do there but eat, gamble, and drink) but it's always nice to see new clubs popping up. This also gives the Jersey folk a reason to stay local and not make the 2 hour drive up to Manhattan.

Risky opening a club down there. Went to harrahs once and the sound was horrible and it was filled with guidos and just a generally awful crowd Crobar in nyc was known for having so-so crowds too, lots of proms and what not so maybe this is a getaway for those folks in jersey |
