Winter Music Conference 2010 Dates Announced

The Winter Music Conference, the premier U.S. music festival (we still love you Electric Zoo!) dates have been announced. Taking place in Miami (even though there were rumors of moving it to Vegas because of low numbers), this years festival will take place on March 23rd to the 27th.

This wasn't really a surprise to anyone though, as this has been the date (for the most part) for the past few years now. Though we haven't gone down there in a few years (we're getting old I guess), it's still a great time and for those of you who have never been, a time to experience some of the best dance music the world has to offer before the summer season hits.

If it was up to us? We'd probably save our money for Ibiza, but hey, no hate in our blood right?

With the economy we will see how well these events due. Like the person who wrote the article said, I also haven't gone since 2001, but I have heard that things have changed. It's gotten younger, and become more of a Cancun spring break. Sucks that this has been ruined but things go that path as they become more popular. Maybe I'm just getting old to..........

I actually sense good things for the conference this year. WMC '09 was lackluster because most people couldn't afford it. But as soon as the conference started, so many people who weren't there wish they were. I think many people who didn't go last year realized that the conference is a good time even if it's not the same massive event of the past.

I know I'm going, and I'm bringing the drums with me.

Have to agree with you here. I've heard from a lot of people that things have really changed in recent years down there. Last year I didn't even feel an urge to go down, though a few years prior I had. I hope that maybe New York can do something like this so that we all don't have to travel down there. It can become expensive quick, and I'd much rather save my vacation days to travel overseas.
