Seems to be a lot of dance music oriented movies making the rounds. There is talk of a Soundfactory documentary (even though there is the homemade SF documentary from a few years back, and who could forget the MTV True Life)? So it would seem fit that the electro heads would need one of their own. Electro was never really my thing, but it started to catch fire with Armand Van Helden in the 90's, and nowadays with Deadmau5 and Steve Aoki and the likes and it has just taken off. Places like Terminal 5, site of what used to be Carbon and Club Exit in its latter life now book electro shows on a pretty consistent basis, and most sellout.

And so it goes.... The Electro Wars is a documentary directed by Stephen Vasquez which hopes to tell the story of the electro music scene. From Armand Van Helden to Moby, the story goes back to the roots of the scene. Instead of just blabbering, we'll let the video do the talking...
