Real World 21: Brooklyn

So yea you heard it right. It was only a matter of time before MTV invaded the world of the hipsters...

It was announced this week that MTV will shoot its next series of Real World live from Brooklyn. The Real World, in its now 21st season (can you believe it) will focus on a young crowd most likely based in Williamsburg/Greenpoint. The show will begin filming soon and the shows will start airing first quarter of 2009. According to figures released by MTV.com, Real World Hollywood saw an increase in viewers of almost 30% compared to the previous season. Well there goes the already expensive rent in those areas

oh, wow. I dont watch tv, but still if I did I can't wait to see hipsters fight.
Where are my raw denim jeans, or why dont you like my tattoo sleeve.
Who ate all the vegan cookies. Where's my fixed geared bikes.
I've been a fan I kraftwerk for like 15 years, minimal techno rules!
funniest thing will be when the do a mission it will be them driving a beatport van for the get phyisical booka shade tour!

21 seasons but not 21 years... i believe the first season was in '91 or '92? i love the beginning seasons, especially new york (eric nies <3) it's an absolute train wreck now. it's basically just watching roommates get drunk and fight and hookup.

LOL! i would love to see that. i doubt that there will be any hipsters on the show though, they cast people from all over the US, usually the most bland and uninteresting people they can find.
