Martin Gore And Vince Clarke

Some people may not know Vince Clark was a funding member of Depeche Mode, and may better know him from Erasure and Yazoo.  That is because Vince Clark left the band way back in its infant stages in ’81.  But time can heal any wound, and in this case, Martin Gore and Vince are going to team up a new techno album.  The album, which we don’t have any further information about, was first broken by NME Magazine.

While we would have rather had news that Vince was going to re-join DM for a new album, we won’t get too greedy and take what we can get.  We saw Martin DJ a few years ago at Hiro in Manhattan, and although his mixing wasn’t that great, it was the track selection and his overall cool factor that made the night a blast.  Would be a special treat to see these two guys play out live together.  They’ve made some of the best electronic music this world has ever known.
