Levon Vincent To Mix Fabric 63

DOPE.  Levon Vincent announced on his Facebook page tonight that he will begin compiling Fabric 63 tomorrow.  From the post: “Spent all day cutting dubplates, and TOMORROW I BEGIN RECORDING FABRIC #63 :) ”  Sounds like a plan to us.

Fabric 61 – Visionquest

Second Fabric post this weekend, but we figure it’s worthy.  Seth Troxler just threw up the artwork for the cover of Fabric 61 coming from the Visionquest boys.  This is the first official mix release from them and given the past couple of Fabric releases, this one is sure to be a corker.  It’s out December 5th on Fabric.

10 Years Of Fabric Records

Ten years ago this week, Fabric decided to jump into the record business and create compilations put together by the DJ’s that frequented their club.  Well, ten years later they’re still going strong, and at this point we some times lose track of what number the Fabric series is up to, but one thing remains true, they’re always good no matter who puts them out.  Fabric spoke to some of the DJ’s about their mixes and what Fabric means to them. Dave Clarke To Mix Fabric 60

Word comes out of Resident Advisor that Dave Clarke is the next man up for the Fabric series mixing Fabric 60.  Pretty crazy to think about how far this series has gone.  It’s important to keep in mind that Fabric is not a mp3 only mix show where you just record a mix and upload it to Soundcloud and you’re done.  Fabric mixes are released on CD as well with artwork and promotions, so for 60 compilations to be released, well that is one damn good feat if you ask us.  Dave’s been around the techno scene for as long as anyone, so we can’t think of a better guy to do this mix.  Tracklisting as follows: Read more »
