Resident Advisor is reporting that Dixon has mixed Live at Robert Johnson Vol. 8 (due for release in September), and that it will also be his last, as he feels the Mix CD has run it’s course and is being phased out in favor of digital format. It’s a sad day in both regards as some of us still buy Mix CD’s and like to read the artwork, but of course we are not dinosaurs, and this day was coming.
